Lying Father

A man sends his daughter from his bedroom to tell the landlord who was on the front door demanding his rent arrears that he was not at home.

The little girl walks outside and says to the landlord: "My father said I should tell you that he is not at home."

"Tell him I am sitting in the parlor waiting for him," replies the landlord.

Smart Kid

A father tells his child to always close his eyes during prayer in church for concentration.

During prayer in church the man opens his eyes to see if his child was obeying his instruction.

At that moment, the little child opens his eyes to cross check if his dad was sticking to his own rule  but finds his father looking at him.

"You did not close your eyes, dad," said the child, accusing his father.
